| Polyurea Coating
System epoxies are 100% solids systems, typically 1:1 or 2:1 mix ratios by
volume for convenient field use. Polyurea coatings systems offers primers
and top coats for most applications conditions, including concrete and steel
substrates. It is recommended that prior to coating concrete the surface be prepared according to NACE Standard RP0892-92. Polyurea Coating Systems recommends applying penetrating primer/sealer PCS-30 or at 2-3 mils in order to provide a receptive surface for the top coat such as polyurea PCS-320 or epoxy FE-100. PCSI concrete primers penetrate deep into the surface of the concrete, reducing pinhole formation and adding strength to the outer layer of concrete. Increased top coat adhesive strengths are achieved using PCS-30. |
