PCS-30 Epoxy Concrete Primer

PCS-30 is a low viscosity 100% solids epoxy developed as a penetrating concrete primer for polyurea applications. PCS-30 penetrates the surface of the concrete, strengthening the concrete, blocking off pin-hole formations and providing a surface to accept the polyurea, increasing adhesion of polyurea systems by up to twice that of un-primed concrete.

Typical Applications: Advantages:
  • Primer/sealer
  • Concrete surfaces
  • Enhanced adhesion values
  • Strengthens/repairs concrete surface
  • Polyurea coatings
  • Epoxy coatings
  • Urethane coatings
  • Low viscosity
  • No VOC's - 100% solids
  • Odorless
  • Penetrating sealer
  • 1:1 mix ratio
  • Applied by Brush, Spray, or Roller
  • Plugs pin-holes

Directions for use:

Surface must be properly prepared. Concrete surfaces prepared according to NACE standard RP0892-92. All surfaces must be free from dust, rust, moisture and other oils and contaminates. Mix contents of A & B in 1:1 ratio. Apply by brush. or roller to 2-3 mils. Allow 14-18 hrs (at 72oF) for PCS-30 to penetrate the concrete and become tack free. Lower ambient temperatures will require longer tack free time.

Apply at 2-3 mils maximum. Do not allow to pool on surface.

Coat with PCSI FE-100 epoxy or PCS polyurea within 2 days of applying primer.

Safety:
Consult PCS-30 A/B MSDS before using material. Use proper ventilation and respiratory equipment when spraying. Protect skin and eyes. Follow disposal methods in accordance with local and federal disposal regulations.
