PCS-700
Pipeline Coating

PCS-700 is a 100% solids, two component polyurethane/polyurea coating with a 1:1 by volume mix ratio. Specifically designed as an external pipeline coating with excellent corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance and full compatibility with cathodic protection systems. The fast cure at ambient conditions make it an ideal coating for in-plant as well as over the ditch application.

Typical Applications: Advantages:
  • Pipeline coatings
  • Girth welds
  • Repair/patching
  • Metal surfaces
  • Ductile iron surfaces
  • Over the ditch coatings
  • 1:1 mix ratio by volume
  • < 30 sec cure
  • Immediate return to service
  • Excellent cathodic disbondment properties
  • 100% solids
  • Applied by plural component spray

Directions for use:

Surface must be properly prepared. All surfaces must be clean and dry before application. Substrate should be wire brushed to establish minimal surface preparation. Brush blasting of the surface is recommended. All surfaces must be coated prior to formation of rust bloom. Substrate must meet a minimum of SSPC-SP-10 near white blast with a minimum angular profile of 3 mils.

Mixing of materials prior to application is not required. Avoid moisture contamination.

Application must be made with a plural component proportioning equipment utilizing in-line heaters.

Consult PCSI technicians prior to using.

Safety:

Consult PCS-700 A/B MSDS before using material. Use proper ventilation and respiratory equipment when spraying. Protect skin and eyes. Follow disposal methods in accordance with local and federal disposal regulations.
